NFL Youth Camp Captured by the Gearshift TV team!





Peninsula All-Star Football Camp hires Gearshift.tv for the 3rd year to capture and document a two day camp for youth ages 8-14 and selected high school players. The camp features the teachings of basic offensive and defensive skills taught by football professionals and coaches.

Every year the camp directors bring home local NFL players to serve as guest camp counselors. This year the camp featured a tailgate event for Mike Tomlin, head coach of the Pittsburg Steelers, 2008 Super Bowl Champs, HRYF has managed to give new life to the old idea of hosting a football camp. They view sports as a metaphor for life!

Emmy Award Winner! DC Producer, Don Napoleon






Don Napoleon went from "producer" to "Emmy Award Winning Producer" in one night. More than 400 broadcasters from Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia gathered for The 51st Emmy Awards held at The Ritz-Carlton in Washington, DC on June 6th, 2009. The ceremony is sponsored by the National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Even Oprah Winfrey was there!

Awards for excellence were presented in 77 categories, Gearshift.TV Producer, Don Napoleon won his first Emmy in the following category:

White House Dinner/Capitol File After Party- Gearshift TV on the Scene

Gearshift was requested to cover the Capitol File After Party on Saturday May 9th, 2009 at the Corcoran Gallery of Art next to the White House. The video, due out this week, was shot in 720p60p HD. This event was one of the top 5 ever covered by DC based Gearshift.tv. A-List celebrities were everywhere. eXposure helps HBCU & DC Students first hand tours at DC networks and media companies



HBCU Students are sometimes limited with resources about career opportunities in the Television business. It takes one day at a time to "Give back". It's my duty and responsibility to give back to those who need direction at VSU, This year together with the VSU Mass Comm Dept, Jennifer Williamson, eXposure was able to organize a DC Studio Tour for HBCU and DC students to visit and tour TV networks and Radio studios in the DC area....
